No. 02-05

The Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development (DOL) is offering a free training session for employers on the new OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) Form 300 and record keeping system for work-related illnesses and injuries. The training is Tuesday, January 29 from 1:30 to 4:30 P.M. in Room 303 in the DOL building located at 1111 West 8th in Juneau.

"The session will explore the simpler, easier to follow requirements now in force for 1.4 million employers covered by OSHA's new record keeping rule for tracking workplace injuries and illnesses," said Labor Standards and Safety Director Rich Mastriano. "Our goal is to help employers transition more easily from the old Form 200 to the new, recently distributed Form 300."

Space is limited. Please call Lillian Prevette, 465-6005 to reserve a seat or for more information. Information is also available at the OSHA Website
