Statewide Training and Employment Program (STEP)

Annual Financial and Program Performance Review – July 1, 2007 to June 30, 2008

Funded from a small portion of contributions to unemployment insurance, the Statewide Training and Employment Program (STEP) has a goal to reduce unemployment insurance claims and train workers for job openings. The program has served more than 10,000 Alaska workers since its inception in 1989.
