A survey conducted in selected communities throughout the state and Seattle. The survey simulates contractor pricing for a single family home package by tracking various building materials representing approximately 30 percent of the home's total cost.


Number of New Housing Units in Alaska

The Alaska new housing unit survey provides an overview of new residential housing structures in selected communities throughout the state. Local governments and housing agencies are surveyed quarterly to obtain numbers of new single family, multifamily, and mobile home units.
