May 2008 Alaska Wage Rates
Balance of State |
Wage rate information is collected through the Occupational
Employment Statistics (OES) semiannual survey, a federal-state
cooperative program with the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).
The survey allows wage estimates to be produced for about 250
occupations, including mean, median, and various percentile ranges.
Wages are also published for occupations in the following
areas: Alaska Statewide,
Anchorage / Matsu Area,
Fairbanks North Star Borough, and the
Southeast Region.
For additional
information about this year's wage survey, please refer to
the technical notes.
