Alaska Safety Advisory Council To Meet

The Alaska Safety Advisory Council is scheduled to meet on Monday, May 17, 2000, at 2:00 p.m. Video and teleconference sites will be made available at the following locations:

Agenda items will include: Committee Reports; Governor's Safety and Health Conference wrap-up; year-end council wrap-up; 2000-2001 goals; update on current legislative issues; and new business.

The Council meets regularly during the year and sponsors the annual Alaska Governor's Safety and Health Conference to support, encourage, and educate about occupational safety and health in Alaska. Citizens and organizations that promote safety and health are honored by the Council at the conference.
