Tok Job Center Temporarily Reduces In-Person Hours

Itinerant staff available every other Thursday until October; Web services available 24 hours, seven days a week

The Tok Job Center is temporarily reducing on-site office hours, although area job seekers and employers may still access services online through the Alaska Job Center Network Web site at:
jobs.alaska.gov

Beginning Monday, August 19 through approximately the first week of October 2002, the Tok Job Center will be closed, except for Thursday, August 29, Thursday, September 12 and Thursday, September 26 when itinerant staff from the Fairbanks, Glennallen and Delta Junction Job Centers will be available from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to provide in-person services at the Center located in Tok at the State Office Building.

As part of a contingency plan, these fill-in services are being provided on a temporary basis exclusively for this time period. The full assortment of job center services and in-person hours are expected to resume by early October 2002.

If area job seekers, employers and Division of Public Assistance clients require immediate assistance during this time of Tok's temporary in-person service reduction, they may contact one of the following Alaska Job Centers where staff will be available to personally assist them:
