Required State And Federal Posters Available At No Charge

The Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development (DLWD) reminds all new and existing employers that certain employment-related posters (both federal and state) must be posted in areas readily accessible to employees.

There are 11 state and federal employment-related posters which employers may be required to post:

EMPLOYEE POLYGRAPH PROTECTION ACT
NOTICE TO EMPLOYEES - FEDERAL MINIMUM WAGE
YOUR RIGHTS UNDER THE FAMILY & MEDICAL LEAVE ACT OF 1993
EMPLOYER'S NOTICE OF INSURANCE
YOU HAVE A RIGHT TO A SAFE AND HEALTHFUL WORKPLACE
EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY IS THE LAW
THE ALASKA HUMAN RIGHTS LAW & FEDERAL LAW PROHIBIT

These posters can be obtained at no charge by accessing the Labor Standards and Safety Division website at: Posters Page. This website provides download links for all required federal employment-related posters, as well as download links for three of the five state employment-related posters. The website also provides an email link which allows employers to request that free copies of posters be sent via the U.S. Postal Service.
