Virtual Spring Job Fair To Take Place April 26-May 28, 2021

JUNEAU, Alaska — Alaska Job Centers will host the 2021 Spring Statewide Virtual Job Fair beginning next week. Over a five-week period, from April 26 to May 31, 2021, employers and job seekers will be able to connect through internet chat platforms. This free online event connects Alaska residents with employment opportunities.

"The virtual job fair will host employers over a much greater period of time than a traditional job fair, allowing them to participate as their hiring needs change throughout the spring season,” said Commissioner Dr. Tamika L. Ledbetter.

To register, employers are encouraged to contact their local job center at jobs.alaska.gov/offices.

The hiring event will take place on the Alaska Virtual Job Fair platform at jobs.alaska.gov/jobfairs/virtual.html. This online experience will offer the same opportunities of a traditional job fair, from the safety of the job seeker’s home. Job seekers will have the chance to meet with prospective employers live via video chat. This job fair is open to the general public. Job seekers are encouraged to have an electronic copy of their resume and references available to provide to employers.
