Online is now the fastest and easiest way to file for benefits! Online services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

If you have never filed for unemployment insurance benefits, you will need to speak to a claim center technician. Otherwise, you can file a new claim, reopen an existing claim, file a weekly claim, or check the status of your most recent payment via the Internet at my.alaska.gov and click on "Unemployment Insurance Benefits" under Quick Links.

Claim Center technicians are available 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Alaska Standard Time (AST), Monday through Friday.

For the hearing impaired, dial 711 or Alaska Relay at (800) 770-8255. Long distance charges will begin when the call is connected to the claim center specialist.
