Quality Control program
Unemployment Insurance (UI) Quality Control audits are required by the federal government to identify and reduce errors in the payment of UI benefits. Alaska has eight auditors statewide based in Juneau, Anchorage and Fairbanks. Quality Control auditors investigate randomly selected UI claims and contact claimants, employers and third parties as needed to ensure unemployment benefits were paid correctly.
